Look What I Saw on the Way to Work This Morning
Well its not exactly earth shattering news. But at least its timely.
I know what you're thinking. When is that guy gonna start posting things of interest to a wider readership? He's still writing about trivial things he encounters in his mundane existence! But you've got to admit a dead snake is a but more interesting than a frozen puddle and then a thawed puddle, and then a dried puddle, and then a littered puddle....
The Big Picture
Here you get an idea of the size of this beast. Do you notice the wound? There must be a story behind that wound. Let't take a closer look...
A Closer Look
You can't look at this without wondering what happened on the night of April 2 in thr grape fields behind the tennis courts of Gefen Street?

On behalf of Cecilly, currently residing at 40/6 hagefen, we send condolences to the family of the snake.
P.S. Got any mice?
This snake was clearly run over by a bicycle. Too bad! Do you have rattlesnakes? We have them in Reno. Love, Barbara
I think a dog got it.
Mother
Hi Cecilly. Thanks for the visit from next door!
Barbara, Couldn't have been a bicycle! That would have left a bruise. This was a lethal gash!
Hi Mom. That would be a pretty brave dog to attack a serpent that size. Besides, I didn't see any teeth marks.
I think it attacked a person who felt very theatened and was working with a shovel or something like that.
i think it was bored and waiting for you to come along and snap a picture of it. it got your attention didn't it?
roochie
Look at the brick next to the snake? Hmmmmmm yea i guess it was a bike. Duh
